Vintage SofaA stunning original vintage mid-century studio couch by Ercol. Iconic design with curved sides, splayed legs & surfboard back panel. Built from solid beech wood with elm back in original blonde finish, upholstered with light cream corduroy type cushions. The back panel unbolts turning this into a comfy bed, it also looks great with the back cushions on or off. The webbing is all very good having been replaced fairly recently (it has been stapled & not the dowel method not that it makes any difference really).
This is from our own personal collection but due to a change around it sadly won't fit anymore, we believe the cushions are memory foam & previous owner paid a lot to have them made, however the upholstery itself is quite marked but can be removed from cushions so they may clean up or we considered dyeing them a darker colour - mostly we had a throw over it anyway so hardly saw the upholstery! Measurements Of The Item (Approx): Height - 77cm Width - 206cm Depth - 80cm Seat Height - 42cm, or without cushion 30cm Condition: Excellent used condition, very clean and well looked after piece. No splits, no loose joints, no repairs or woodworm. Minor age related wear to frame mostly just wear around arms, cushions as shown are quite marked on both sides but no rips or tears, they might come up fine with a decent upholstery cleaner.DeliveryOur price includes free mainland UK delivery.
